How to Apply
To qualify as a potential LBS BFP candidate you must be a current or former student of London Business School. Where you can apply in 3 easy steps. You need to send a one-minute video of why you want to become a board fellow, your CV, and complete an application form. Please read below before you start your application.
Step 1
Send a 1-min video telling us about yourself (info not on your CV), why you want to become a board fellow & how you can add value as a board member.
Step 2
Send an updated CV, and ensure a working link to your LinkedIn profile is included.
Step 3
Send a completed LBS BFP application form.
How it Works
We have two intakes annually, where applications are sorted, depending on our first-round criteria. If you get past the first round, you will be contacted via email. Round two will be the interview stage. Where you’ll be interviewed by the LBS BFP team. Again you’ll be contacted via email if you make it to the next round. The last round would consist of an interview with the firm themselves.
What to Expect
Due to large volumes of applications, we cannot get back to everyone who applies. If you do not receive an email within 3 weeks post-round, then you’ve not made it to the next stage. The LBS BFP team will send a brief, discussing the role, what the firm is ideally looking for, as well as the firm itself. This is to ensure you have invested interested in the company & position before an interview takes place. If all goes post-interview, an agreement is signed by both parties. Outlining expectations from both fellow & firm.

My time as a LBS Board Fellow with Link to Change has been a wonderfully rewarding experience. I’ve much to take away from this opportunity & look forward to continuing this kind of work.

It’s been a great journey from LBS BFP to my current governing board role at Thomas Academy. From my point of view, it’s been, & still is a satisfying collaboration for both parties.
