Looking for Candidates to Fill a Board Role?
LBS BFP’s cost-free service is designed to help you find the right candidate for your paid or unpaid board role position(s). Whether you’re an NGO looking for specific skills in exchange for board exposure, a school looking for a board governor, or a firm requiring years of experience for an NED role. You can find your hire from a pool of London Business Schools’ top candidates in three easy steps.
Step 1
Send an email to boardfellows@london.edu with a brief of the board role you’d like filled (Board Role – in the subject box). Alongside preferred dates and times for a meeting.
Step 2
An LBS BFP team member will be in contact to finalise a meeting time and date. Where your questions are answered and talks around your organisation’s requirements are discussed.
Step 3
If you’re happy with the outcome of the meeting. LBS BFP will start to find you a number of candidates that fit your criteria, to start the interview process with your firm. This process will be repeated until you find a candidate your firm is happy with.
How it Works
We have two annual intakes of fellows (April and October) where applications go through 3 rounds of interviews and vetting processes before they are considered for a role. Board role positions are taken throughout the year and candidates are chosen from the pool of applications that have gone through the rigorous selection process. If a firm or organisation likes the profile of a candidate an interview between the company and LBS fellow will be set and finalised.
What to Expect
It can take up to three weeks before a number of suitable candidates are put forward. Please kindly remember we’re a volunteer-run organisation. Where our team members are in full-time studies or work. This means our service might take longer compared to profit or not-for-profit organisations. If all goes well post-interview, an agreement is signed by both parties. Outlining expectations from both fellow & organisation.
